My Dad wrote that entire sequence at Circle 7 but it was a bank robbery. ![]() They also wrote a first draft for 'Monster's Inc. My Dad was one of the two writers who were re-writing this script at Circle 7 right before Disney shut it down. I have mixed feelings as he has turned things around so much and I don't quite see who could fill his shoes, but if he stays around forever it could be another Eisner. Pixar / LucasFilm (ILM) / Disney Feature Animation while all run separately are now sharing their new technological creations with each other and growing quickly with what they can do and the speed they can do it at. Pixar was actually a little side project of LucasFilm that Steve Jobs bought back in the day, so they are now back under the same company again. Eisner was basically who helped along the first, but many considered he was just there too long and went downhill. Iger has done a whole lot with the company under his watch, and what I would consider the Second (and biggest) Disney Renaissance. There was a lot of other stuff happening within the board at this time as well wanting Eisner out.įinally he was talked into 'passing on the torch' to Iger and soon after Pixar was under the Disney bubble. Eisner managed to really piss off Steve Jobs to the point he would never sell Pixar as long as he was running the company. ![]()
